After Siddhartha left kingdom and started living life like celibacy and run day to day life by alms in the forest. He began to do meditation. He overcame many obstacles. And finally he got enlighted in Boudh Gaya, under the shade of Pipal tree. And then he started to share his knowledge to all the people and helped them to get nirvana. He taught the people the right way of living and he made people realize the importance of human life and how lucky we are to get such an precious opportunity. He led the world toward the path of love, truth and peace. He made the people follow the panchaseel which are;-

1) Mutual respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

2) Mutual non-aggression

3) Mutual non-interference in each other's  internal affairs

4) Equality and mutual benefit, and

5)  Peaceful co-existence




So on 7th May (Buddha Jyanti) Lord Gautam Buddha Got enlightened and started to lead world towards the path of love, peace and truth.
